What Can Be Done for Hearing Loss

After a hearing evaluation has been completed and a hearing loss has been identified, the audiologist will make appropriate recommendations. These recommendations may include a referral for a medical evaluation, a hearing aid evaluation and hearing aids, the use of communication strategies and/or use of assistive listening devices, such as amplified telephones and alerting devices.
